1. What size snood should I buy for my dog?

Simply measure your dog’s neck where their collar sits, ensuring you leave room for comfort. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Our standard snood sizes are available in set lengths per size, however if you require a slightly longer or shorter style please let me know and I can make to your requirements.

 

2. How do I measure my dog’s neck for a snood or collar?

Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the base of your dog’s neck. Make sure to leave a two-finger gap for comfort. Check our size guide for breed-specific recommendations.

 

3. What materials are your snoods made from? 

Each snood is handmade using luxury fabrics and high-quality materials to ensure durability, warmth, and comfort. We use soft, breathable fabrics that are gentle on your dog’s skin and fur. Our luxury knitted snoods are more delicate than our everyday fleece range, so it is important to decide what type of walk/outing you are going on and the suitability of your snood.

4. What materials are your collars made from?

Our handmade collars are made using durable, high quality fabrics, strong webbing and secure metal or plastic hardware. With this in mind, some items are going to be more delicate than High Street products - they are a luxury item, so a little care may be required to prolong the life of some items. Satin, velvets and some lightweight fabrics are more susceptible to wear over time and need to be cared for accordingly.  At Snoods4dudes we cannot guarantee fabrics against wear and tear, but if you have a problem with the stitching we will be happy to repair your collar for you.

5. Are your dog collars adjustable?

Yes! Our collars come with adjustable sizing to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for your dog.  We offer a range of sizes to suit small, medium and large dog breeds.  If you need custom size please feel free to contact us.

6. Are your dog snoods suitable for all seasons?

Yes! We offer a collection of different snoods hand made from a variety of yarns and fabrics to suit different weather conditions. From luxury hand knitted snoods to everyday practical double fleece snoods and lightweight jersey snoods for the warmer months.

 

7. How do I care for my dog’s snood?

All our luxury hand knitted snoods and snarfs require hand washing only, however our fleece, jersey snoods and bandanas are machine washable on a gentle cycle. We recommend air drying to maintain shape and softness. Always check the individual product care instructions.

8. How do I care for my dog’s collar?

We recommend hand washing or using a gentle machine wash (please place collar inside a laundry bag, or pillowcase).  Always air dry to maintain shape and durability.

 

9. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All our products are hand made to order so please see product descriptions for individual process times. Following processing times, we aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 business days. Shipping times vary based on location, but standard UK delivery typically takes 3-5 days, while international shipping may take longer.

 

10. Do you offer bespoke orders?

Yes! If you’re re looking for a specific size, colour, or fabric, please get in touch, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

 

11. Can I return or exchange a dog snood if it doesn’t fit?

We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days, provided the item is in unused, original condition. Please check our Returns Policy for full details.

All our snoods and collars are handmade with love in Northumberland in the UK, using carefully selected materials to ensure quality, comfort, durability and style for your dog.
