Our Story
It all started with a snood.
One chilly Northumberland winter, I knitted a cosy snood for my two rescue sighthounds, Barney and Harvey – a pair of elegant, sighthounds who love a bracing coastal walk but aren’t exactly built for the British weather. They needed something warm, practical… and let’s be honest, something with a bit of flair.
Soon, compliments came rolling in – then came the commissions. One snood became many, and Snoods4Dudes was born: a celebration of canine style, comfort, and individuality.
Our little team grew when Pumpkin joined the pack – rescued on Halloween (of course), and now the smallest but sassiest of our trio of in-house models. Together, Barney, Harvey and Pumpkin proudly showcase our range of handcrafted snoods and unique martingale collars.
Today, every Snoods4Dudes product is handmade using carefully selected fabrics and quality materials. From cosy fleece snoods and lightweight jersey snoods to handcrafted martingale collars for sighthounds and other adventure-loving dogs, each piece is designed with comfort, practicality and personality in mind.

Our Values
Fed up with the dull, mass-produced dog gear on offer, we set out to create something better: accessories that actually felt special. Our pieces are designed to be functional, yes – but also full of
personality. Just like our models.
Every snood is hand-knitted using soft, durable yarns that keep your hound warm and comfortable.
Our collars are stitched on an industrial machine for strength and safety, then finished with quality hardware - and our original designs are guaranteed to turn heads (and get tails wagging).

Giving Back
A percentage of every purchase goes to Northumberland Dog Rescue, the dedicated charity that brought Barney, Harvey and Pumpkin into our lives. Supporting them is our way of saying thank you – and helping more rescue dogs find their forever homes.
You’ll also find a selection of our snoods and collars at locally grown, Running Fox Cafés, dotted around Northumberland, and we regularly support artisan fairs throughout the year.
